Since 1982 Identec has pioneered the technology of simultaneous identification
of a multitude of tags/transponders co-present in the interrogation field of
a Reader using scrambled radio communications.
There are three RFID systems available:
There are differences between the systems in the frequencies used and
the way the tag number data is derived which favours one or other system in
certain circumstances. Cyphertag is the latest addition to the product range
which uses modern DSP architecture making it immune to electrical interference.
The systems cannot be mixed.
There are also available various Installation/Site survey/Diagnostic products
for each system:
- NOISE INDICATOR;
- TUNING EQUIPMENT;
- TAG TRANSMISSION RANGE INDICATOR.
Finally, for advanced applications, extensive hardware and software is available:
- MULTIPLEXED SYSTEMS;
- FAST READING SOFTWARE;
- SPORTS TIMING SYSTEMS;
