The reader checks that each test tag aerial combination is functioning correctly. If either the test tag or the reader has compromised a relay will operate and the reader can generate an alarm report via the Wiegand or RS232 output port. The PTT1 test tag can be used with CRx type readers such as CR1-DS-MS which have multiple aerial loops.
The PTT1 is required when a split transmitter and receiver solutions have been employed.
An alternative product is the PTT2 which is an "inline" performance test tag.

Ordered as PTT1 (PTT1A - USA system).
The PTT1 must be ordered with this code at the same time as the Reader. Upgrade to existing CRx reader(s) will require new firmware to be supplied.
